Elon Musk's Skyward Second Shot

Elon Musk, the famous businessman, is trying again to launch his big new rocket, Starship. Last time, in April, the rocket took off but lost control and exploded after four minutes in Texas. Parts fell into the Gulf of Mexico.

Musk's team at SpaceX made over a thousand changes to Starship to make it better. The next launch is set to happen in Boca Chica. The plan is to send the Ship part of the rocket nearly around the Earth and land it in the ocean near Hawaii.

If Musk succeeds, it will be a huge deal. Starship can carry a lot into space and bring down costs. Musk dreams of sending people to Mars, and Starship is key to that dream.

But the first test was a disaster. Starship's engines made a huge hole in the launch pad, throwing stuff everywhere. The heat was like a volcano!

To fix things, SpaceX put a steel structure to shower water to cool the launch and make it less noisy. They also worked on Starship's engines, which had some problems in the last launch.

The plan for this launch is to have the Ship part separate smoothly and land safely in the ocean. It's a big step for SpaceX.

Even if everything doesn't go perfectly, experts say SpaceX learns a lot from each try, which helps them fix things faster. Musk's company always finds a way in the end.
